Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist located in Middletown and Vernon, CT. The Optometrist will provide exceptional eye care to patients, conduct comprehensive eye exams to determine vision problems, and prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses. The Optometrist will also diagnose and manage eye diseases and disorders, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree

• Active state Optometry license

• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to explain medical terms and procedures clearly to patients

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience in pediatric eye care and contact lens fittings is a plus

• Familiarity with electronic medical records and diagnostic equipment

• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $150,000+ per year
